If you're dreaming of a tropical vacation in a glass, this Pineapple Coconut Margarita is calling your name. It’s creamy, citrusy, and perfectly balanced — the kind of cocktail that feels indulgent but is surprisingly easy to make at home. With just a few fresh ingredients and a shake of coconut cream, this margarita is smooth, refreshing, and totally beach-bar worthy. Whether you're hosting a summer BBQ, lounging poolside, or just want to shake up your weekend, this drink brings sunshine to any occasion.
🥄 Ingredient Swaps:
Tequila: Try mezcal for a smokier flavor, or use white rum for a lighter tropical vibe.
Coconut Liqueur: Use Cointreau or triple sec if you don’t have coconut liqueur — add a splash of coconut extract or cream to retain flavor.
Pineapple Juice: Fresh pineapple juice is best, but canned or bottled (no added sugar) works in a pinch.
Agave Syrup: Sub with simple syrup, honey, or maple syrup.
Coconut Cream: For a lighter option, use canned coconut milk or light coconut milk.
🍹 How to Make It a Mocktail:
Want all the tropical vibes without the booze? Here's how:
Omit the tequila and coconut liqueur.
Replace with:
2 oz coconut water
1 oz orange juice or pineapple soda
Shake with lime juice, pineapple juice, agave syrup, and coconut cream.
Serve over ice and garnish the same way.
It still gives you that creamy, fruity, beachy feel — minus the alcohol!
